Privacy Notice

How HomeVision handles contact, account, calendar, and usage information.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

This Privacy Notice describes how HomeVision (“HomeVision,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our marketing website, request a demo, create an account, or use our contractor platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information from third parties that help us deliver the Services.

  • Contact and account details such as name, business name, email address, phone number, role, and login credentials.
  • Workspace and project content you submit to the platform, including customer records, leads, estimates, proposals, schedules, materials lists, invoices, and related notes or attachments.
  • Connected integration data from integrations you choose to enable, including Google Calendar connection status, connected Google account email address, selected calendar identifier, granted scopes, token expiry, encrypted OAuth tokens, synced event identifiers, sync timestamps, and sync error details.
  • Communications with our sales, support, or implementation teams, including form submissions, emails, and chat messages.
  • Usage information such as pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, referring URLs, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve the Services.
  • Payment-related information processed by our payment processor; we receive transaction status and limited metadata but do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Create and manage accounts, workspaces, and user permissions.
  • Operate integrations you enable, including syncing HomeVision appointments to connected calendars.
  • Respond to inquiries, requests, and support tickets.
  • Process payments and send billing-related communications.
  • Send service updates, security alerts, and (where permitted) marketing emails.
  • Analyze usage to understand which workflows help our customers most.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations.
  • Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.

Google Calendar integration

If a workspace administrator connects a Google Calendar account, HomeVision requests access to the connected Google account email address and Google Calendar event permissions needed to create, update, and delete HomeVision appointment events in the connected Google Calendar. We use this access only to provide the Calendar sync feature you choose to enable.

When HomeVision syncs an appointment to Google Calendar, the event may include appointment title, start and end time, timezone, service address or location, customer or contact name, job or deal reference, booking source, notes or description added in HomeVision, and internal HomeVision event identifiers stored as private event metadata.

The current Google Calendar integration is one-way from HomeVision to Google Calendar. HomeVision does not import, scan, or use Google-only calendar events to calculate booking availability unless we separately disclose and release that feature.

We store the connected Google account email address, selected calendar identifier, granted scopes, token expiry, Google Calendar event IDs, sync timestamps, sync errors, and encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens as needed to keep the integration connected and maintain event sync.

Google API Limited Use

HomeVision’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, retargeting, credit eligibility, lending decisions, or unrelated analytics.
  • We do not use Google Calendar data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
  • Human access to Google user data is limited to cases where it is necessary to provide support requested by you, investigate security or abuse issues, comply with law, or maintain and operate the Services under confidentiality obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Services (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, and payment processing), under written agreements that limit their use of the information.
  • Google Calendar integration, by transmitting appointment event data to Google through the Google Calendar API when you enable Calendar sync.
  • Within your workspace, with other users your workspace administrator has authorized to access shared records.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • Legal and safety, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HomeVision, our customers, or others.
  • With your direction, when you ask us to share information with a third party or enable an integration.

We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Workspace content is generally retained for the life of the account and for a reasonable period after account closure to support recovery, backups, and legal obligations.

You may disconnect Google Calendar from HomeVision at any time. Disconnecting disables future sync and clears stored OAuth access and refresh tokens from HomeVision. You may also revoke HomeVision’s access from your Google Account permissions. Events already created in Google Calendar may remain in Google Calendar unless deleted there or deleted by a HomeVision sync action before disconnection.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be retained where we have a legal basis to do so.

You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message. Service messages relating to your account or billing are necessary for operation of the Services and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

To request deletion of Google Calendar connection data or sync metadata stored by HomeVision, contact us at privacy@homevisions.ai. We may retain limited records where required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our Security page for more detail.

Third-party services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Notice does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy practices before sharing information with them.

Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International users

HomeVision is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an in-product message or email).
